Tulip Marawi

Hi there! I'm Tulip, an MA/PhD student in Clinical Psychology at the University of Toronto Scarborough. I have previously completed by MSc. at IMS at the University of Toronto in 2023, and joined the lab as a Clinical Research Assistant in Summer 2023 shortly after, before starting my graduate studies in Clinical Psychology in Fall 2024. I am interested in using brain imaging and other biomarkers to understand changes in cognition in older adults with mood disorders (e.g., depression) or cognitive disorders (e.g., dementia) to understand risk mechanisms of Alzheimer's disease and related dementias. I'm also passionate about teaching and mentorship, and creating graduate school admission resources for underrepresented students! Outside the lab, you'll find me spending time with family, friends, and loved ones!
