Claire Lauzon

Claire is a PhD student in Clinical Psychology at York University, where she completed her Master's in 2022. She is grateful to hold an NSERC award supporting her research on the use of electroconvulsive therapy to treat severe depression, and its impacts on memory, cognition, and brain structure. She has completed clinical practica at the York University Psychology Clinic and the North York General Eating Disorders Program, and is developing her clinical competency in individual and couples therapy. She is looking forward to beginning her next placement at Sunnybrook's own Frederick W. Thompson Anxiety Disorders Centre later this year. Outside of school, she enjoys hanging out with her dog, Smiley.
